Instructions for Conduct of School Complex Meetings

As per proceedings of the State Project Director, SSA, Telangana State, Hyderabad Proc.Rc.No.32/SSA/T6/2014, dt. 28.11.2014, the State Project Director, SSA, Telangana State, Hyderabad, it is decided to conduct at least once in two months and shall conduct a total of Eight (8) School complex meetings per year. In this academic year one/two school complex meetings were already conducted in all the districts.  The SPD issued instructions for Conduct of School Complex meetings in all Districts of Telangana State. So, as per the instructions of the cluster level meetings are follow-up trainings of mandal level trainings which are conducted earlier.

Therefore, all the Districts of MEOs and School Complex Headmaster’s are requested to issue necessary instructions to all the under school teachers to attend school complex meetings from 17th to 20th December, 2014 without fail.

Agenda
The agenda suggested for the Primary level teachers are :
A. Subject wise groups based on the training on which subject they underwent in the mandal level training.
1. Classes I and II – Telugu / Urdu
2. Classes I and II – Mathematics
3. Classes III to V – Mathematics
4. Classes III to V – English

B. The training components suggested subject wise are
For classes I and II
  1. Experiences sharing on use of TLM by the teachers – development of some more TLM.
  2. Sharing of experiences on implementation of Early Literacy skills in the schools.
  3. Sharing of experiences on implementation of multi-grade teaching.
  4. Some more demonstrations on multi-grade teaching, early literacy skills.
  5. Implementation of CCE.
  6. Preparation of unit plan and its transaction in classroom (Demonstration/Model lessons).
  7. Implementation of LEP-3R programme, Strategies adopted, innovations carried to make the children learn Reading, Writing and Arithmetic.

For classes III to V
  1. Experiences sharing on use of TLM by the teachers – development of some more TLM.
  2. Sharing of experiences on implementation of multi-grade teaching.
  3. Some more demonstrations on multi-grade teaching, early literacy skills.
  4. Implementation of CCE.
  5. Preparation of unit plan and its transaction in classroom (Demonstration/Model lessons).
  6. Implementation of LEP-3R programme, Strategies adopted, innovations carried to make the children learn Reading, Writing and Arithmetic.
  7. Transaction of textbook – model lessons
  8. Generation of activities and projects.

For UP level : (subject wise)
  1. Implementation of LEP-3R programme – Discussions on strategies/Innovations adopted for improving the Performance of low achievers.
  2. Transaction of textbooks-discussions on teaching learning strategies model lessons, execution of activities experimentations and projects.
  3. Implementation of CCE – Conduct of formative tests, weightages, blue print, preparation of test items, criteria for assessing projects, assignments, pupil work in the formative test.
  4. Discussions on concepts for conceptual clarity, learning strategies for concept development among the children.
  5. Discussions on Teaching strategies and CCE procedures with a focus on academic standards.
  6. Any other issue as desired by the teachers.

Therefore, the Mandal Educational Officers and School complex Headmaster’s concerned are in the district is hereby informed that attach the DRGs to each school complex to lead the sessions and take immediate action on the above schedule and see that the School Complex Meetings will be conducted effectively and also instructed them to submit the Complex wise attendance and Documentation in their District Project Office.
